Treatment specification
Protections may vary among them:
- from the simplest, such as caps and screws of various sizes as needed,
- to the most complex, which sometimes go so far as to be specially designed before the part itself is built, through careful and dedicated technical advice to the customer during the design and construction of the component.
In addition to its acquired work capacity, Mochem is able to offer technical, chemical and metallurgical knowledge of the materials, combined with advice on any issues related to the construction of the part prior to treatment.
In case of mechanical components used in Formula1 and MotoGP, the process follows a different procedure: it is first checked on the drawing by the technical department, to make sure that the dimensions are not changed, then being subjected to the protections several times with special waxes.
